Kansas Miss Amazing Mentor 2026

Alison Brown lives in Overland Park, Kansas with her husband Patrick and their two cats: Tigger and Achillies. For the past two years, Alison has been working for Walmart in the Fashion Department. She previously worked at Blue Valley High School as a Lunchroom Service Worker food handler for approximately 6 years. Alison has been a Special Olympics athlete for the past 18 years competing in basketball, tennis, volleyball, and soccer, just to name a few. The highlight of her Special Olympics career was when she had the honor to compete in the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games, earning a gold medal and a 4^th place ribbon in her swimming events. It means a lot to Alison when she can help make a difference for people with disabilities. She does this by being a Special Olympics Kansas Global Health Messenger. Her team meets every month to come up with ideas to offer physical fitness programs and healthier breakfast and lunch options to serve athletes when they compete in regional and state competitions, thereby helping people with disabilities live healthier lifestyles.
