Michelle Roberts is the mother of three grown children and a wife for almost 30 years. Michelle was in the education field for 25 years. Three years ago she stepped down to help her husband with their family owned business and to help promote her daughters non profit prom closet. In 2014 Michelle was diagnosed with LGMD. When looking for a passion to call her own Michelle came across the Miss Amazing organization and can’t wait to show Kansas what girls and woman with disabilities CAN do!
Tobie Roberts is a fashion designer who specializes in designing for bodies of many different abilities. In the spring of 2018 Tobie premiered her collection “Breathe” by Tobie Marie on the KC Fashion Week runway, leaving a lasting impression of what beauty and strength looks like. Tobie was diagnosed with LGMD in 2017 and finds her diagnoses helps her to recognize the true impact a disabled woman can leave on her community.

Tara Glades is a lifelong Kansan who attended Emporia State University, earning a BS in Psychology, BSE in Special education and Psychology, and an MS in Educational Leadership. She taught special education for 18 years and is currently in her 4th year as an administrator for the Flint Hills Special Education Cooperative.
Tara has been married to Marc Glades for 25 years and they have 2 adult children; Raini is 22 and is studying to become an Occupational Therapist. Brayden is 20 and will complete his Construction Management degree in May 2020. Tara and Marc live in Emporia with their dogs Bella, Buck, Maggie, and Kona.

Her unique and personal approach focuses on building inner strength and confidence; working from the inside out. We are so blessed to have Jodi sharing her talent with the Kansas Miss Amazing Organization. Jodi will be producing the first ever Kansas Miss Amazing Event and we can't wait to see what she brings for our AMAZING girls!!
